Why this site exists
A lot of owners grow the business and keep about the same pay. The Profitable Business is where you can find the reason for free, in your own numbers. It's run by Metric Mentor Labs, the firm Steve Kopshaw founded.
Who's behind it
Steve Kopshaw
I opened my first studio in Wyckoff and a second in Scarsdale. The second one started sliding toward the red while I worked harder than I ever had. Every decision ran through me, so every problem did too. I was the system.
What fixed it wasn't more effort or more leads. It was finding the one thing holding the business back and running the business on the numbers every week.
I've spent the years since doing that with other owners. The team and I are closing in on $350M installed across 100+ companies, and I wrote it all down in From Traction to Freedom, out November 16.
