Questions owners ask

What are the three buckets?

From Chapter 19 of From Traction to Freedom: Operations keeps the business alive, Investment makes it stronger, and Return proves it is a real asset. Split gross profit across all three.

What are healthy ranges?

Operations 50 to 65 percent of gross profit, Investment 20 to 30 percent, Return 15 to 25 percent. Above 70 percent in Operations is survival mode.

Why does Return matter?

A business that never returns capital isn't an asset. Zero in Return for more than two years means something is structurally wrong.
